Key Updates

With cinemas closing worldwide, Disney looks to protect its production line by releasing another of its upcoming movies, Pixar’s Soul, on Disney+. Starring Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, it’s a typically wild examination of what happens after we die: get the tissues ready. Click here for the trailer, and expect to see it on Christmas Day.

New Film Release

Millie Bobby Brown continues to dominate Netflix with Enola Holmes, a charming family adventure that focuses on the sister of the illustrious Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill). Brown is really setting the benchmark for female-led features, while offering a different energy to the quiet power of Eleven in Stranger Things. Click here for the trailer and be sure to check it out on Netflix.

Latest Trailer

Citizen Kane sits atop the throne of classic Hollywood cinema: Orson Welles’ masterpiece. But, the story isn’t complete – many fail to realise that the film’s writer, Herman J. Mankiewicz, played an integral part in the film’s development, basing the screenplay on personal experiences with William Randolph Hearst. It looks like that story will finally be told by none other than David Fincher in Mank. Netflix will release the film on December 4. Click here for the trailer

What to Stream

The Haunting of Hill House was a sleeper hit for Netflix, offering some creative thrills and chills in a classically ghostly setting. So, naturally, there’s a follow-up in the form of The Haunting of Bly Manor. A new setting, some fresh frights, and showrunner Mike Flanagan might just have captured the same successful vibe. Watch the trailer and give it a shot on Netflix, just in time for Halloween.
