With cinemas closing worldwide, Disney looks to protect its production line by releasing another of its upcoming movies, Pixar’s Soul, on Disney+. Brown is really setting the benchmark for female-led features, while offering a different energy to the quiet power of Eleven in Stranger Things. Citizen Kane sits atop the throne of classic Hollywood cinema: Orson Welles’ masterpiece. But, the story isn’t complete – many fail to realise that the film’s writer, Herman J. Mankiewicz, played an integral part in the film’s development, basing the screenplay on personal experiences with William Randolph Hearst. The Haunting of Hill House was a sleeper hit for Netflix, offering some creative thrills and chills in a classically ghostly setting.
